Itinerary:

Friday January 25th
1:00PM              Bus loads in Edmonton (Location TBD) and departs at 1:30pm sharp!
5:00PM              Bus loads in Calgary at McMahon Stadium Park & Ride and departs at 5:30pm sharp!        
9:00PM              Arrive at the Fernie Alpine Resort. At this time riders will receive their lift tickets and hotel check-in packages from their Bust Loose! Host. Please do not get off the bus until you get your check-in package. Check-in will not be available at the front desk. Be sure to collect all luggage/gear
9:30PM              On-hill arrival and welcome drinks at Griz Bar and Australia Day Party (BYO Australian)

Saturday January 26th

9:00 AM               Lifts Open
DAY                      Free Skiing – Meet the Bust Loose Powder Patrol at 11:00 a.m. and join them for an epic mountain tour!
4:00 PM                Apres Ski!
8:00 PM                Prepare yourself once again this season for the return of Fernie Alpine Resorts’ Kokanee Snow Dreams.   Traditionally, the Griz rewards our celebration of winter with fresh snow, serving up an all you can eat Powder Buffet. After you’ve tackled the slopes join us for an Ice Cold Kokanee in the Griz Bar while listening to our live DJ. The party continues all night in the legendary Griz Bar, where the most unspeakable of Après activities have been witnessed on more than one occasion.

NIGHT TWO THEME – Well, this is Snow Dreams, soo… Come in your Pajamas Party

 

Sunday January 27th 

9:00 AM               Lifts Open
DAY                     Free Skiing – Meet the Bust Loose Powder Patrol at 11:00 a.m. and join them for an epic mountain tour!
11:00AM              Last call to check out.
*All rooms must be checked-out by 11am. A courtesy room will be provided at the hotel for luggage storage during the day. Rooms not checked-out by 11am may be charged additional day rates.
A space will be provided for day storage of luggage
3:30PM Bus will be open for loading in preparation for departure
4:30PM Bus departs for Calgary and Edmonton with meal break planned for Edmonton guests in Calgary

To Our valued customers, friends and industry partners:

I hope this message finds you and your family safe and healthy. In a very short period of time, our whole world has been turned upside down. But, like the many challenges that have faced us in the past, this too shall pass.

In two short years, Bust Loose! Holidays/ Bust Loose! Party Buses will celebrate a momentous birthday. We will be turning 40 years young! Thinking back to the thousands of trips and events with all the amazing people we have met and the memories we have makes these times a bit more manageable.

I remember back in 1990 when Operation Desert Storm was launched during the Gulf War. This was it, I thought. No more travel, life was changed forever. Wrong. Eventually we went back to our routines. People kept travelling and our club crawls, ski trips and Mexico programs continued on. We thought we would never see the likes of something similar to this in our lifetime. Boy were we wrong!

Y2K, 9/11, War in Iraq, the SARS epidemic in 2003, the Dot Com bust in 2005, the worldwide financial collapse in 2008, the collapse of world oil prices starting in 2014. Looking back these events it should have been the end of the road for us. But we survived!

And now here we are - facing the biggest challenge since WW II. It is no surprise that this has hit our company hard. We are in the business of social gatherings and event planning. Needless to say that the phones are quiet right now. Believe it or not, we are OK with this. Although we are angry and disturbed by the impact, we have to act now to combat this invisible enemy. Our Political leaders, health care workers and all essential service employees are guiding us through this unprecedented time. We are being asked to practise social distancing, self-isolation and above all, stay at home. To put things in perspective, it’s really not much to ask. Last time we were faced with a crisis of this magnitude, our grandfathers were asked to go to War; we are being asked to sit on the couch.

Our industry is one of the hardest hit as a result of this COVID-19 Outbreak. Bars and restaurants have been mandated to shut down. We are not allowed to have social gatherings. But we all know this will be over soon and we will get back to normal. And by normal I mean we will gather together to share in our victory over this enemy. That will be great cause for celebration. We know this will happen and we are planning for it. There will be more trips to plan. We are already anticipating the excitement of hitting the slopes next year! Kokanee Retro weekend, Kokanee FreeRide and more trips will be scheduled. And our fleet of Party Buses will be ready to "roll" this Fall and Winter season! It will be time to celebrate belated or current birthday parties, rebooked Stag & Stagette parties, delayed graduation parties and golf group outings to name a few. And our next mega club crawl event will be the Halloween Howler October 31st, 2020. We can’t wait to welcome you back!

But for now, we all have to do our part. Please stay in. Stay connected with your friends and family on line. Let’s flatten the curve.

And then, get ready for the floodgates open for good times and new memories!
